Full job description

Overview
We are currently looking for a customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Working as part of a small team, this is a hands-on role which involves customer service, store operations including stock replenishment, ensuring good visual standards throughout the store.

The ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

The hours of work are based on 24 hours per week, with the opportunity for extra shifts available to a max of 30

hours per week for holiday cover. Some weekend working is involved on a rota basis.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide attentive assistance throughout their shopping experience.
Maintain attractive and well-organised merchandise displays in line with merchandising standards
Provide detailed product information and answer customer queries confidently
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management to ensure product availability

Requirements

Organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Experience in merchandising or retail sales is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage customers professionally
Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and organisational abilities.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
