About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and authoritative Head Door Person (HD) to oversee venue security and lead our door team across the Brierley Hill and Dudley area. As the frontline face of our hospitality venue, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for both our guests and staff.
This is a senior role requiring exceptional leadership skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a sharp eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Team: Manage, brief, and deploy the door security team effectively during shifts.
* Venue Security: Oversee crowd control, queue management, and strict ID/entry policies.
* Hospitality Excellence: Maintain a professional, polite, and welcoming attitude, ensuring security integrates seamlessly with a high-quality hospitality experience.
* Incident Management: De-escalate conflicts quickly and professionally, handling any security breaches in line with legal and venue guidelines.
* Admin & Reporting: Complete all necessary administrative duties, including filling out incident reports, maintaining accurate logs, and recording other vital operational information.
* Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for venue management, local authorities, and licensing officers.
What We Are Looking For (Mandatory Criteria):
PLEASE NOTE: Only serious applicants meeting ALL of the below criteria will be considered for this role.
* Proven HD Experience: You must have direct, verifiable experience working as a Head Door Person.
* Hospitality Background: Strong experience working within the hospitality/nightlife sector is essential.
* Licensing: A valid, current SIA Door Supervisor license is mandatory.
* Communication: Exceptional communication and conflict-resolution skills.
* Reliability: Punctual, reliable, and possessing strong leadership qualities.
