Full job description

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained with experience of Setting CNC Turning machines in a precision environment.

Sheldon Precision Engineering are a successful sub-contract precision turned parts company, established in 2014. We service a variety of Industries and have built a reputation on quality and reliability.

We are looking for someone with an eye for detail whom works in a methodical organised approach.

The responsibilities of the role include the following but are not exhaustive.

Setting tools and getting the machine ready for a new part
Running part around ready for first off inspection
Completing first off inspection
Optimising cycle time and process stability
In process inspection and tool wear monitoring
All associated operating duties
You must be able to read CNC G-Code but programming is not essential and can be taught.
Sliding head experience is not essential.

Terms

Hours/Days of work Monday-Thursday 7.00-4.00, Friday 8-12(There is flexibility around these hours if your personal circumstances require this)

30 days holiday incl.bank holidays increasing with service
Up to £44,000 P.A
Lots of over time available @ x 1.5
