Role: Sales Co-Ordinator
Location: Dumfries Depot
Reports to: Depot Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)
Salary + Commission for new accounts
SUITABLE CANDIDATES:
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, positive individual who is outgoing and personable and will be able to work hard on their own initiative. Main duties will be taking and processing orders over the phone and making outbound calls in order to generate additional sales. Based within travelling distance of our new Dumfries Depot.

Oilfast are the fastest growing and now one of the largest fuel distributors in Scotland. In 13 years, we have grown to a level where we have 11 depots across the UK. We have a large fleet of tankers and flatbeds delivering diesel, gas oil, home heating oil, lubricants, AdBlue®, gas bottles and fuel tanks out of those depots to a range of agricultural, commercial and domestic customers. We also sell fuel cards for drawing out of our network of sites across the country.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Work as part of a small team to deal with customer orders, banking, admin and customer pricing.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Sales administration, processing orders
- Confidently interact with both commercial and domestic prospective and agricultural customers to generate business
- Handle any customer service issues with your customers with a view to resolving amicably
- Work as part of a small, committed team
- Provide your line manager with lead updates on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Regular outbound sales calling will be required as part of this role
- Ensuring your existing customer base is receiving up to date pricing detail
- taking the on call phone on a rotational basis
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent telephone manner
- Previous experience of making outbound sales calls
- A high degree of self-motivation and drive
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent communication skills (email, telephone)
- Strong commercial awareness
- A confident and determined approach
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The ability and desire to sell
