Full job description

Job Summary

Lochmaben Golf Club is looking for an experienced enthusiastic Chef to join our friendly team.

The successful candidate will oversee the day to day operation of the kitchen and provide consistently high quality food for our members and visitors.

Responsibilities

Managing the day to day running of the kitchen
Preparing and presenting high quality meals
Helping to plan menus, specials and function catering
Ordering supplies, managing stock and controlling food waste
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Ensuring all food safety records and procedures are completed
Organising the kitchen working and providing guidance to kitchen staff
Working closely with the clubhouse team

Experience

Minimum of 3 years previous experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role
Experience in menu planning, food costing and stock control
Strong organisational and time management skills
A thorough understanding of food hygiene and kitchen procedures
A friendly, professional and positive attitude
Flexibility to work weekends and some evenings

Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
