Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, assisting in meal preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety. If you have a passion for cooking and a desire to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food safety guidelines are strictly followed to maintain hygiene and quality.
Support the catering team in delivering exceptional service for events and functions.
Help with the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Participate in meal preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and plating dishes.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
Maintain stock levels by assisting with inventory management and reporting shortages.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
Experience in catering or restaurant settings will be considered a plus.
A passion for culinary arts and willingness to develop cooking skills further is essential.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
