We have an exciting opportunity for a post office counter clerk part time min 16 hours per week

Must be willing to cover staff holidays and sickness cover.

We require candidates who have a passion for what they do, taking pride in their work,ensuring the store is constantly at it's best of delivering an optimal shopping experience for customers.

We at Dunbar Post Office are offering an exciting Part time opportunity for the right candidate to join our team to deliver excellent customer service.

You will ensure:

Customers are given the correct Post office service
To communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner
To be target driven and confident to have conversations about products and services
To handle cash and information responsibly
To have the ability to work under pressure, accurately in a busy office environment
To be a team player as well as working on your own
Go the extra mile for your customers
To foster a positive work environment by consistently treating all staff and customers with respect and consideration
Customers have a pleasant and efficient checkout experience
Customers leave our store feeling valued and satisfied

Main Responsibilities Include Post

Processing letters and parcels in the correct manner and giving the right service
Banking cash deposits and withdrawals, western Union and bill payments
Processing car tax and DVLA forms
Digital passport renewls service.
Providing travel insurance and foreign currency
Maintain an accurate stock and cash balance at the end of each shift

Retail:

Process payments accurately and efficiently
Clean and organize the store when needed
Welcome customers into the store and help them locate items
Price merchandise, stock shelves and take inventory of supplies when required
Check to make sure all shelves and displays are appropriately stocked and front faced correctly

Flexible part time hours you would work around 16 hours a week. Casual work is often available if you can be flexible and respond at short notice.

Please note you will be subjected to a CRB check and will be vetted by the Post office.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: from £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: minim per 16 per week

Thursday/Friday
