As the Breakfast Supervisor, you will be a key player in delivering an exceptional morning dining experience for our guests. Reporting to the Head of F&B and AM manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing the breakfast, Lunch and AM events service, supervising staff, and upholding the highest standards of service and hygiene. The role also involves contributing to the success of our Afternoon Tea service, adding another layer of importance to your position.

Privately owned Carberry Tower Mansion House is one of the most magnificent Castles of Scotland and is a luxury establishment set within its own stunning 40-acre Estate.

We currently operate:
A 40 Cover Restaurant (open 7 days a week 12pm – 10pm)
30 bedrooms inclusive of 7 suites
Private Dining facilities in various function spaces
Banqueting Pavilion which can cater for up to 150
And our Drawing room which hosts afternoon teas from 12pm-4pm
What skills do I need?
- Lead the breakfast team to ensure a seamless and efficient dining service.
- Deliver outstanding service to guests during breakfast, enhancing their overall experience.
- Effectively communicate with both guests and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain order by managing inventory and schedules for breakfast service.
- Ensure the dining area's cleanliness, accuracy in orders, and compliance with dietary requirements are essential requirements of the Breakfast Supervisor position.
- Implement new standards of service to elevate from current in both Afternoon teas and in breakfast.
About You:
- Be able to commute to EH21 8PY from 6:30am in the morning
- Be able to commit to 5 days per week including weekends (7am-5pm weekdays, 7:30-5pm weekends *shifts will vary to fit 40 hours)
- Presentable, Professional and Well-spoken
- Punctual, Honest, Hardworking & Outgoing
- Proactive and able to use their own initiative
- A team player but also able to work on their own
- Has excellent Attention to Details and a Highly Organised Approach
- Has excellent Customer Service Skills and the drive to go the extra mile on a guest’s behalf
- Can remain calm and work well under pressure
- Is passionate about working in a luxury hospitality environment
- Loves sharing their knowledge about local produces, history and folklore.
