Full job description

We are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager for the North of England region reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager with whom you will liaise with regularly. The main objective of the BDM is field sales promoting the sale of range of services offered by T&T North; tanker and packaged hazardous waste transfer, treatment and disposal plus JetVac

The role involves developing sales plans for the commercial growth of the business, growing existing accounts whilst creating new sales leads and generating new business sales in line with agreed profit margins. It also includes Customer Relationship Management with the expectation that avenues to grow business will be explored and that you will actively monitor competitors. You will also be expected to produce monthly reports. The role is full time, 40 hours per week.

To apply for the role of Business Development Manager, you must have a proven track record of at least 3 years in sales/business development within the waste sector, a full driving licence and a high level of communication, negotiating and IT skills. You must also be able to demonstrate generating new sales and account management skills. An extensive chemical knowledge, a working knowledge of relevant legislation and market trends is desirable.

We are looking for an individual who has good customer service skills, is proactive and self-motivated, can work under strict deadlines and pressures but also someone who can lead by example.

Future Industrial Services (part of the Augean Group) is one of the largest providers of liquid waste removal; industrial services such as tank and interceptor cleaning; labour provision to industry; hazardous waste removal; oil/water separation and specialist metal recovery. We are a growing national company with a reputation for excellent service delivery. Business success and expansion in recent years has seen the Company grow to be one of the largest suppliers of specialist recycling, industrial services and liquid waste collection and treatment services in the country and very recently expanded further by joining the Augean Group. Together the group now employs over 600 staff in depots throughout the UK.
