Our community pharmacy in Menzieshill Dundee is looking for a motivated new team member!

This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week and may include a Saturday rota.

What is a Pharmacy Assistant?

At Davidson’s Chemists, the role of a Pharmacy Assistant is vital in delivering exceptional patient care. Pharmacy Assistants work both at the healthcare counter and within the dispensary, supporting other team members under the guidance of the Pharmacist. They help ensure the safe, accurate, and timely supply of prescribed medications to patients. Pharmacy Assistants also offer advice on common illnesses and minor ailments, recommend over-the-counter treatments where suitable, and provide lifestyle guidance to promote healthier living. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll interact with a diverse group of individuals and play an essential role as part of the pharmacy and local healthcare team.

We’re seeking an enthusiastic team player with a true “passion to care” to join our pharmacy. Whether you’re experienced or new to the pharmacy field, your commitment to delivering excellent customer service to our patients and customers is what matters most. You’ll play a crucial role within our trusted team, making a positive impact in the local community.

If you’re new to community pharmacy, we’ll support you in completing your NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant qualification. Once qualified, you’ll have clear pathways for career progression, potentially moving into enhanced roles in the dispensing process or stepping into supervisory positions.
