Full job description

Administrative Assistant Post

Upto 37 hours per week between the hours of 8am – 6pm.

A vacancy has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join our busy city centre GP Practice.

This post covers a wide variety of duties including reception work, data input and general clerical duties.

We’re looking for attitude over experience. If you’re wondering whether to apply because you have no experience in a GP surgery, please don’t let that stop you. We’d much rather train someone with the right personality for the post.

You must love helping people, keep calm under pressure and be able to multi-task. We want you to communicate with kindness and confidence. Each day in the practice brings a variety of different tasks.

All training will be provided in house for use of all practice systems including Vision, Docman and Microsoft Office/Outlook.

You would work as part of a team who have great awareness of confidentiality and signpost patients to all services available within the NHS.
