Full job description

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Contract Scheduler to coordinate and manage planned and reactive maintenance activities across our facilities services contracts. The successful candidate will work closely with operatives, sub-contractors, clients, and end users to ensure maintenance work is scheduled efficiently, completed on time, and compliant with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
Allocate work orders to in house operatives and external contractors.
Monitor work schedules and adjust priorities as operational needs change.
Track job progress and ensure completion within agreed service levels.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and asset information within our software system
Liaise with building occupants, contractors, and suppliers regarding maintenance activities.
Produce reports and performance metrics.

Requirements

Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, facilities management, construction trades, property maintenance or a similar coordination role.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer care skills.
Experience using maintenance management software packages.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Experience within social housing maintenance contracts.
Knowledge of construction, property maintenance and facilities industry practices.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
