Service Administration Assistant

Location: Office based at Gemini Crescent, Dundee Technology Park, Dundee, United Kingdom, DD2 1WS

Salary: £24,479 to £24,809 per annum

Hours: 35 per week

Contract: Permanent

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Health and Care Team as a Service Administration Assistant. You will be providing crucial support to a vital service.

What does a day in the life of a Service Administration Assistant involve?

Assisting the Support Officer in providing administrative and operational support functions, as per the needs of the area and corporate requirements.
Confidently, efficiently and professionally responding to incoming enquiries from healthcare professionals and (often vulnerable) members of the public over the phone and by email.
Proficiently using IT systems and databases. produce well written letters and emails.

What does it take To be a successful Service Administration Assistant you must have the following skills and experience:

Positive, passionate and enthusiastic approach to customer service
Confident in using telephone systems, bespoke company IT/data systems, Microsoft packages & Outlook (especially the ability to create, amend and manipulate Word and Excel applications)
General administrative duties; incoming and outgoing mail, answering the telephone and scanning, filing, meeting and greeting clients
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to deal with queries in a diplomatic, professional, sensitive and confidential manner (both verbally and in writing)
Ability to work accurately, with great attention to detail when checking documentation

This role is tied to our Commission Services.
