An exciting opportunity has arisen at St John's RC Academy for an enthusiastic and highly motivated English Teacher who can work collaboratively within a large team.

You should have experience of planning, delivering, engaging and stimulating learning experiences that meet the needs of all learners.

About the School

Set at the top of Perth's North Inch and overlooking the River Tay, St John's RC Academy is at the heart of the North Inch Community Campus. This 2–18 all-through school provides education for over 1,200 children and young people from nursery to S6.

The campus is a hub of opportunities for the local community, utilising state-of-the-art sports and cultural facilities and offering a wide range of services for all ages.

St John's RC Academy's success is built on respectful relationships, strong partnership working, a culture of self-evaluation for improvement, and effective leadership at all levels. The school offers a wide range of excellent learning experiences for children and young people, and attainment and achievement continue to improve across all sectors.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher with a track record of building and developing positive relationships and collaborative working practices with pupils, parents and staff.

You will have excellent communication skills and experience of positively engaging learners, families, colleagues and partners.

You will be a teacher who can demonstrate a proven track record of achieving better outcomes for a range of learners through the delivery of all areas of the Maths curriculum.
