Job Title: CNC Operator

Derry’s Ltd is a leading manufacturer of modern, innovative contract furniture for hotels and restaurants. You’ll be joining a close-knit team of craftsmen in a highly successful company responsible for delivering high-profile projects.
This is a permanent position, and any additional bench joinery experience would be a distinct advantage. We produce high-quality furniture pieces—including chairs, tables, and cabinets—using a variety of tools and techniques. As a CNC Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring every product meets our high standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate multi-head 3–5 axis CNC machines with confidence and precision
- Machine a variety of materials including wood, plywood, MFC, MDF, and plastics
- Interpret technical drawings and review G-code where required
- Understand machine parameters, tooling, programming, and processes
- Work proactively within a flexible, team-oriented environment
- Contribute effectively in a low-volume batch production setting
- Read and understand detailed joinery drawings and specifications
- Take ownership of your role and contribute to continuous improvement
- Maintain high attention to detail in all aspects of work
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with spindle moulders, panel saws, and chop saws
- Background in furniture manufacturing (chairs, tables, cabinets)
- Bench joinery experience
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a CNC Operator (required)
- Minimum 2 years’ joinery experience (required)
- Full driving licence (preferred)
