We are looking for an organised, approachable and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our HR Team at Corbenic Camphill Community.
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organised and wants to develop their experience within HR. You will provide administrative support across a wide range of HR activities, while also being a key point of contact at our reception.

Working within the HR Team, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across the HR function. This will include recruitment and onboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, volunteer administration, training, payroll administration and supporting HR projects.
You will also have responsibility for our reception function, providing a warm and professional welcome to staff, volunteers, visitors, families, candidates and external agencies. You will answer telephone calls, respond to general enquiries, manage visitor sign-ins and help ensure our reception area is welcoming and well organised.
The role will also involve supporting our volunteer programme, including the recruitment and induction of volunteers and befrienders, maintaining records, assisting with PVG administration and liaising with other teams to support volunteer placements.
- Support recruitment and onboarding, including arranging interviews, communicating with candidates and preparing new starter documentation.

Conduct HR inductions and Corbenic tours for new and prospective staff.

Maintain accurate employee and volunteer records.

Assist with PVG administration and compliance processes.

Assist with staff training administration and maintain training records.

Provide administrative support with payroll processes.

Respond to HR enquiries by phone, email and in person.

Provide professional reception support and act as a first point of contact for visitors and callers.

Liaise with internal teams and external organisations as required.

Provide general administrative support to the HR Team.
We are looking for someone with previous administrative experience who is highly organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable dealing with a wide range of people.
You will need to be confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems, have a strong eye for detail and understand the importance of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
Previous HR experience is desirable but not essential. We would also welcome applications from someone with strong administrative or reception experience who is looking to develop their career in HR.
