Full job description

Due to our ongoing growth, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Trainee Fabricator/fitter/polisher within our Team. This opportunity would be perfect for someone looking to join a reliable and hard-working team with a view to developing their skill set and progressing through the company.

CORE DUITES

The Trainee will be primarily involved with the day-to-day fabrication of worktops. This will include the use of hand tools and machinery. Full on the job training will be provided along with specialised job relevant external training.

Training will be provided for the following duties.

Fabrication polishing fitting of solid stone worktops
Accurate and efficient use of specific hand tools
Accurate understanding of worktop templates and related paperwork
Effective and safe lifting of materials
Ensuring that all fabrication is completed within required timescales dictated by the working schedule.
Assist with the general maintenance and housekeeping of the yard and staff areas.
Completion quality control on all worktops fabricated.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
Strong Attention to Detail.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Ability to work without supervision.
Ability to receive direction and training from all Managers.
Excellent Time Management Skills and flexibility.
Driven to learn and progress within the trade.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
