Durham County Council is the largest Council in the North-East and has over 16,000 employees, in a broad range of employment groups.
The role is full of variety and ideally suited to an ambitious individual, who is looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking service committed to promoting and maintaining the highest standards of employee health and wellbeing.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?

We actively promote a good work/life balance and offer various working options, including remote working. Due to the nature of this role, the work will involve both remote and on-site working.
Although the position is full-time, we accept applications from those wishing to work part-time and we will try to accommodate requests.
We encourage you to contact Wendy Hall (Occupational Health Nurse Manager) via email [email protected] to arrange an informal discussion about the role.

Applicants should be aware that the DBS check will disclose both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings, in line with current legislation and will confirm whether an individual is barred from working with children, adults, or both.
