Job Profile
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality electrical work across our commercial, industrial and residential projects. Working as part of a supportive, experienced team, they will carry out installation, testing, commissioning and fault-finding to a consistently high standard, including work on renewable systems such as solar PV, EV charging and battery storage. Working from drawings and specifications, and completing accurate certification and paperwork, they will help ensure every job is delivered safely, compliantly and to the standard our clients expect.
The role would suit a qualified electrician with a minimum of two years' experience post qualification. Candidates should hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or approved equivalent) along with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2). An ECS Gold Card is required, or the qualifications needed to obtain one. A full UK driving licence is essential, as is a current DBS check or a willingness to undertake one. Above all, we are looking for someone reliable, professional and committed to delivering high-quality work.
It would be advantageous, though not essential, for candidates to hold the City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification), a solar qualification, fire alarm systems certification, or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).

Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Carrying out electrical installation, containment, wiring and termination on residential, commercial and industrial projects.
· Inspecting, testing and commissioning electrical systems in line with BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
· Fault-finding, diagnosis and repair on new and existing installations.
· Working accurately from drawings, specifications and schematics.
· Installing and connecting renewable systems such as solar PV, EV charging and battery storage where required.
· Completing installation and test certification and associated paperwork accurately and on time.
· Working safely at all times, following health and safety requirements and site rules.
· Maintaining tools, equipment and van stock, and representing Anelec professionally on site and with clients.
Pay: £18.00-£22.00 per hour
