Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and experienced Mixologist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, a creative approach to drink preparation, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cocktails and beverages while maintaining excellent service standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience through creativity, presentation, and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard
Create and present classic and signature cocktails with attention to detail and quality
Engage with guests confidently, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and drink pairings
Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar area in line with health and safety and food hygiene standards
Ensure excellent customer service and create a welcoming, professional atmosphere
Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and bar preparation
Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Work collaboratively with the wider front-of-house team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Contribute ideas for seasonal cocktails, specials, and menu development

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist is essential
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service
Passion for mixology and creating high-quality drinks
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Positive attitude with a team-focused approach
Basic maths skills for cash handling and stock control
Knowledge of licensing laws and responsible alcohol service preferred
