Are you an architect who is passionate about good quality design?

Looking for a studio with clear progression to Associate?

Want to be involved in existing building work as well as new build?

We are recruiting a Senior Architect for a multi award winning, medium sized architectural practice based in York. The Senior Architect will play a major role in the design and delivery of the studio's highest profile projects.

The Studio

Being one of York's largest and best established architectural studios, with other studios across the UK, this studio work on some incredible projects. In addition to incredibly well designed, contextually sensitive existing building work one would expect in an historic city like York, the studio are working on some excellent new build projects across the wider Yorkshire region, as well as in London across residential, civic, hospitality and public sectors.

This studio have low staff turnover, a great track record of promoting internally and this role is new position being hired for due to the studio growing.

Progression to Associate

The Skills

This role will suit the sort of architect who loves sketching and getting stuck into early stage designs.

Experience as a Senior Architect or Project architect
ARB registration is a benefit but not required
Confident at design and pre-planning
Strong design ability is essential
Heritage experience would be a benefit but is not essential
Revit and/or AutoCAD experience (Revit can be trained)
Ability to be client facing

Salary/package

£45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus

Lunchtime finish on Friday
