Due to continued success and growth, Envisage Dental have an exciting opportunity for an Acquisitions Director. You will join our ambitious and high-performing Acquisitions Team, reporting to our Director of Partnerships.
You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the group’s strategic growth by taking internally generated, qualified off market leads and successfully converting them into clinic completions. Working closely with our Head of Acquisitions, who generates over 30 qualified leads a year, you will ensure the majority of Envisages acquisition activity is driven through direct, meaningful contact. You will take ownership of qualified leads, structure competitive offers at approved levels, secure the wins, and guide each acquisition smoothly through to completion.
Envisage Dental are a fast-growing dental group who specialise in acquiring high-quality private dental clinics. Your work will directly impact the continued success and expansion of our group, helping us connect with clinics that align with our values and high standards. This is a senior, high-profile role in the fastest-growing private dental business in the UK, spearheading our off-market acquisition strategy with a high level of trust, autonomy, and strategic impact.
Typical activities you’ll carry out in this role will be:
- Convert qualified off market leads into successful wins for the Envisage Dental group.
- Structure compelling acquisition offers at pre-approved levels designed to win deals ethically and effectively.
- Negotiate and secure Heads of Terms with prospective practice owners, building trust throughout the process.
- Collaborate closely with our in-house Due Diligence team to track transaction progress, manage roadblocks, and lead deal renegotiations where required.
- Drive the off-market acquisition pipeline cross the finish line to achieve ultimate deal completion.
- Present desktop financial models (produced by the Head of Acquisitions) to clearly and transparently explain EBITDA and value to sellers.
- Engage deeply with business owners to understand their personal goals, ensuring our acquisition structures reflect their long-term ambitions.
- Maintain up-to-date records and notes within our Salesforce CRM system to ensure seamless internal alignment.
- Provide regular updates, insights, and data to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making and pipeline health.
What Success Looks Like (Your First 12 Months):
- Deal and Revenue Delivery: You will successfully complete approximately 10–15 high-quality clinic acquisitions.
- Pipeline Conversion: You will establish a highly efficient conversion rate from qualified internal leads to completed acquisitions.
- Data and Process Integrity: You will maintain exceptional CRM discipline and seamless cross-functional collaboration with the internal Due Diligence team.
Skills and abilities you will need to be successful as a Acquisitions Director:
- A master relationship builder who possesses a warm, professional style and the unique ability to build deep trust through genuine connection rather than high-pressure sales techniques.
- Highly commercially minded with exceptional business acumen, specifically the ability to analyse financial data and identify what a 'great' clinic looks like for Envisage.
- Strong financial articulation skills, with the ability to comfortably take desktop financial models and present EBITDA clearly, credibly, and confidently to sellers.
- A resilient, patient, and emotionally intelligent character who can comfortably navigate complex, high-stakes negotiations with business owners.
- Superbly organised with excellent planning, time management, and the self-motivation required to work independently at a senior level.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to driving transaction progress.
- Tech-savvy or willing to leverage our core stack, including Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn, Microsoft Copilot, and the MS Office suite.
