Location: Hamilton Water Palace, 35 Almada Street, Hamilton

Hours: 37 hours per week (4 week rota)

Salary Band: £27,240- £27,529 per year

Shift Pattern:

Week 1: Mon-Wed late shift, Sat/Sun day shift

Week 2: Tue - Fri late shift

Week 3: Mon & Thurs early shift, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat day shift

Week 4: Tue early shift, Wed - Fri day shift

(example shifts: Early shift 6:15am - 3pm, Day shift 9am - 6pm, Late shift 1pm - 10:30pm)

Duration: Fixed Term until 31st December 2026

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team of Lifeguards at Hamilton Water Palace. You will be responsible to the Duty Officer for the daily operation of the Centre, undertaking a range of duties including pool supervision and cleaning.

REQUIREMENTS

A current Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential, with a first aid certificate and previous experience being desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision of pool activities

To carry out cleaning to meet defined standards

To ensure facilities and equipment are safe and secure in accordance with procedures
