Job Description:

Wiltech Acoustics — now proudly part of Rehlko (formerly Kohler Energy) — is entering an exciting phase of growth and investment. Now integrated into Rehlko’s global energy-resilience group, Wiltech continues to build on its reputation as a leading UK specialist in acoustic canopies, generator enclosures, and industrial noise-control engineering.

Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. HSE Coordinator

Responsibilities:

To coordinate and support the delivery of the company’s Environmental, Health & Safety system across manufacturing and engineering operations.
Promote a proactive safety culture, supports operational teams and drives continuous improvement to reduce risk and improve workplace performance.
Support implementation and maintenance of the EHS management system.
Assist with compliance against UK legislation and internal standards.
Maintain records and evidence for audits and inspections.
Monitor completion of corrective actions.
Coordinate completion and review of, Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), COSHH Assessments, Manual Handling Assessments.
Carry out routine/ random drug & alcohol testing
Carry out routine workplace inspections across production and engineering areas.
Coordinate H&S inductions for employees and contractors.
Maintain training matrices and competency records.
Deliver toolbox talks and safety communications.
Deliver H&S inductions for new employees.

Requirements

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (working towards).
Experience in manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments.
Knowledge of UK H&S and OSHA legislation.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Incident investigation capability.
Good report writing and administration skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
IOSH Membership (desirable).
Experience with ISO Accreditation.
Experience with lifting operations and workshop environments.
