Admin Assistant /Legal Administrator - Full Time

Location: South-East London – Office-Based

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Start Date: 01 September 2026

Established in 2008, we are a small, fast-paced law firm based in South-East London. We are a Lexcel accredited practice with a strong legal aid franchise and a well-established reputation for stellar work in Family, Criminal, Immigration, Community Care, Court of Protection, and Mental Health Law.

We are looking for a dedicated and capable Admin Assistant / Legal Administrator to join our team.

This is a reception-based position, and the successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the office and will be the first point of contact for clients. The role also involves supporting the team across a range of practice areas, including Family, Criminal, Immigration, Community Care, Court of Protection, and Mental Health Law.

Full training will be provided

The ideal candidate will:

Hold an undergraduate degree
Have prior legal administration, reception, or client-facing experience, including managing general office administrative duties
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle incoming calls and enquiries in a professional, empathetic, and effective manner
Possess a reliable, proactive, and adaptable approach
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage competing tasks with confidence
Have strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate strong IT proficiency
Possess good drafting and written communication skills
