Pennies Day Nursery is recruiting for a Part-time Playworker, there is flexibility of hours, however the hours that would ideally suit the nursery are Monday to Friday, Term time only 2pm to 18.30pm with potential flexibility of working hours during Holiday club times.
This role includes collecting children from near by schools by foot and potentially driving a company vehicle (up to 9 seats). This role requires someone to plan activities for the children, supervise them during their meal times and hand over to parents when the children are collected.
We require all applicants to have experience with working with children. Experience of working with specific school aged children is desirable.
Driving licence is essential as this role.
Summary
In this part-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare and early childhood education to children, ensuring their safety and development. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, you will utilize your core skills in communication and experience with children to create a nurturing environment. Your leadership and management abilities will be essential in guiding activities and supporting fellow staff.
