Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer

Salary is dependant on experience – Permanent+ Company Van + Travel Expenses + Phone +Overtime
Hours of Work: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday 08:00-15:30 Friday plus on call rotation equating to 10 weeks per year. Overtime paid for out of hours and Saturday and Sunday work
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning, FGAS and Ventilation Engineer to join our team. As an Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for PPM's, maintaining and installing air conditioning systems, as well as performing equipment repairs and Servicing and maintaining refrigeration systems.

Torien Services Ltd. has been in business since 2008 and has national contracts, therefore travel and working away will be required. We deliver a diverse range of services to our customers, ranging from large industrial facilities, to domestic AC covering a large geographic area we provide an efficient, friendly and professional Service.

As a Torien Services Engineer your role would be to provide an initial first response to call outs and carry out service work and installation work for customers. With the proven ability to analyse and show good attention to detail. You will be able to communicate at all levels with internal staff and customer’s representatives, providing a first class, friendly service at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems in residential and commercial buildings

-Service and Maintain FGAS refrigeration systems
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of air conditioning units
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters and coils
- Repair or replace defective parts in air conditioning units
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and their components

- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of HVAC principles and FGAS refrigeration
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Leadership abilities to supervise junior technicians

-C&G 2079 required (or Besa equivalent)

-Full UK Drivers License
