Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor to join our private healthcare studios.

The ideal instructor must be registered with Body Control and / or APPI.

This is an exciting opportunity for instructors who have a passion for working with clients who are looking to not only improve their health, posture and alignment, but for those who are recovering from pain, injury and post-oprative care.

You will receive referrals from our medical team such as Gps, Physiotherapists and Osteopaths.

You will be teaching a mixture of 1:1 and small group classes on the mat with the option of also teaching on pilates reformers.

A strong anatomy and physiology knowledge is important to allow you to work with medical referrals.

This is a self employed / private instructor position.

Duties

Lead engaging and safe Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels and individual needs.
Design personalised Pilates programmes based on client assessment and recovery goals.
Demonstrate correct adjustment techniques, ensuring proper form and safety at all times
Provide clear instructions and modifications to accommodate different abilities and limitations.
Maintain a clean and organised studio environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised and set up before classes.
Stay informed about the latest developments in Pilates training and anatomy to enhance class quality.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client retention and positive experiences.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and injury prevention strategies.
Excellent organisational skills to manage class schedules and client programmes efficiently
Friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine passion for promoting health and wellness.
Flexibility to adapt sessions based on individual needs and studio requirements.

Pay: £80.00-£125.00 per hour
