Your Role

EF (Education First) Eastbourne Summer School is seeking dedicated and outgoing teachers to join our team for summer 2026.

* Meet our EF summer 2025 staff

Position Details:

- Full-time

- 6 days a week

- Positions available between mid-June – August 2026 (minimum one month commitment)

- Accommodation and full board available if necessary

Responsibilities

- Inspire international students to improve their English in fun, communicative lessons

- Plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons to diverse groups of learners

- Track student attendance, assess progress and provide regular feedback

- Facilitate testing and maintain academic records

- Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions

- Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment

- Act as an ambassador for EF

Requirements

- Available between June-August 2026

- TEFL or CELTA (or equivalent) qualified

- Excellent communication skills

- Sensitive to the needs of international students

- Confident in teaching young learners (13-17)

- Demonstrates a high level of customer service

- Has strong administrative and organisational skills

- All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references

- Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment

- C2 level of English
