We are currently recruiting for training contracts commencing in January 2028, although this date may be subject to change.
No. We do not recruit to a fixed number and instead focus on appointing exceptional candidates who demonstrate the qualities and potential we are looking for.
Applications are open to anyone who has either graduated or is due to graduate from 2026 onwards.
Please note that, in order to commence a training contract with us, you must have successfully completed and passed either the SQE or LPC before your start date. You are very welcome to apply in advance, but this requirement must be met before your training contract begins.
To register your interest, please complete our online registration form.
When the recruitment process opens, typically in mid-October, we will email you an application form, which must be returned together with a copy of your CV. The application deadline is usually mid-December, but you will be advised in the email.
Please remember to check your junk or spam folder. If you have not received an application form, please contact us directly.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an online interview towards the end of January. Successful candidates will then progress to our assessment days in April.
Successful candidates will be invited to spend two days with us at our Brighton and Hove office.
You will be assigned a trainee buddy who will support you throughout the process. During the assessment days, you will complete a variety of practical exercises and written tasks, as well as attend an interview and deliver a short presentation. The presentation topic will be provided in advance, allowing you sufficient time to prepare.
Current trainee solicitors will join you for lunch on both days, giving you the opportunity to ask questions about the process, the role, and life at the firm. Lunch will be provided by us, and reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
We believe our culture and values set us apart. Our ambition is to be an employer of choice: a firm where talented individuals aspire to build their careers.
We operate from a modern, fully open-plan, dog-friendly office environment, with no closed doors and a strong emphasis on collaboration, wellbeing, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We are committed to supporting each individual's development, whatever career path they choose to pursue.
As a trainee solicitor, you will have the opportunity to complete four seats across a range of practice areas, providing broad exposure to the legal profession. We take the time to understand your career aspirations and work with you to help shape a training contract that supports your long-term development.
If you can demonstrate strong legal knowledge, commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for the law, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, ambitious, and committed to contributing to the future success of our firm.
