A Motion Designer & Editor is responsible for producing high-quality video content for use across all our digital channels and in-store TVs, ensuring all assets are brand compliant, technically correct and delivered to production deadlines. Working as part of the Design & Production team, the role supports the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns by preparing, adapting and refining creative assets for a variety of media.
Creating engaging motion graphics, animations, and video content for social media, websites, digital campaigns, and other marketing channels.
Collaborating with the wider Creative team to bring creative concepts to life.
Producing high-quality edits and animations using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and other industry-standard software.
Managing projects from initial media ingest through to final delivery, ensuring all assets are organised, accurate, and production-ready.
Interpreting creative briefs and applying brand guidelines to deliver visually compelling and on-brand content.
Working closely with Design & Production, Creative Concept, Marketing, and the People Team to deliver creative assets that meet business objectives.
Ensuring all content is optimised for its intended platform and meets the required technical specifications.
Managing multiple projects and priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Keeping up to date with the latest motion design techniques, editing trends, and software developments to continually enhance creative output.
Contributing creative ideas and supporting the development of innovative visual content that engages audiences.
3+ years in a video creative role, within the retail sector.
Degree in Videography/Animation/Creative
Proficiency in linear editing software (such as Premiere, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve) and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator
After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Davinci Resolve.
Strong understanding of imagery, composition, and design, with the ability to creatively solve problems and approach projects from a variety of angles.
Creative flair for video production and a passion for motion graphics. Up to date with current editing, sound design and motion trends and social first best practices.
A solid portfolio showcasing previous work or personal projects you have edited or animated.
Strong communication skills with the ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback.
Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively in a close team environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and consistency across all projects.
