What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone to join us as a Granite and Quartz Worktop Fitter. Ideally you would have some experience of working in a fitter role (1 year preferred) however don't worry if you don't, training can be provided and it's your passion and values we are interested in.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player, with a positive can-do approach to life and work. We are looking for a fitter to travel between job sites, in order to install the specially prepared granite and quartz to a high standard meeting customers’ expectation. You will be working within the fitting team, where you will gain the knowledge of this industry. The successful candidate will be required to work well alongside other trades on site and be able to liaise with customers in a polite, professional manner.
Training for the successful candidate will be provided and after successful completion of this, the candidate will be able to use their own initiative, take pride in their work, welcome a varied workload and work within timescales. Ability to adapt to the company’s needs, be comfortable with change and be able to prioritise tasks.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will be:
- Punctual, polite and professional at all times
- Have some experience working on detailed finished products
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Work well in a team and have a can-do attitude
- Be in possession of a full UK driving license
Experience in the kitchen industry will stand candidates in good stead as will individuals who have spent time as carpenters/joiners or shopfitters.
