This is a great opportunity to join a local family firm that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply and fit windows, doors and conservatories for homeowners and businesses across North Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.
We are currently looking for an experienced Installations Manager for windows and doors who can also survey when required, to help us ensure the great quality delivery our customers expect.
You will be working on domestic properties as well as commercial client’s projects, and ensure that the window fitting teams have all the necessary information to carry out a smooth and safe installation.
You will be supplied with a company vehicle, laptop and office space to do your job efficiently and have the support of the team in the office. After three months, access to the company pension scheme is provided.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience as an Installations Manager in the window and conservatory industry.
- Shows strong initiative and leadership in customer service levels and is a consummate example of high standards expected.
- Has knowledge of building regulations, planning applications and conservatory warm roof systems is a must.
- Shows problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
- Has excellent organisational skills and is able to manage multiple projects.
- Can establish and maintain good working relationships.
- Has knowledge of the installation processes for PVCU, Aluminum and the latest Warmroof refurbishment products.
The role overview:
- You would be liaising between departments, Office, Workshop, Site; staff and operations manager.
- Oversee and supervise a fitting team (windows and conservatories).
- Ensuring projects are correctly resourced with labour and materials.
- Arrange defective/replacement items with suppliers for site.
- Manage professional customer liaison throughout and after the project.
- Inspect completed works and make sure they fall in-line with company standards.
- Instruct where installers need to be for each of their jobs, work out what support that might be required.
