Help us inspire the next generation of musicians.
Anthem Music School is one of the North West's fastest-growing music schools, teaching over 1,500 children every week across Manchester, Salford and Trafford.
We're looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing & Creative Coordinator to join our team as we enter our next stage of growth.
Until now, all of our marketing has been created in-house. As our student numbers, school partnerships and events continue to grow, we're looking for someone who can take ownership of our marketing and help us raise the bar even further.
This role will initially be 4–8 hours per week (approximately 1–2 days), but we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us. For the right person, there is genuine opportunity for increased hours, responsibility and career progression as the company continues to expand.
What you'll be doing
No two weeks are the same! You'll play an important role in promoting everything Anthem has to offer, including:
- Designing eye-catching social media graphics and campaigns
- Creating promotional material for concerts, showcases, workshops and events
- Producing flyers, posters, banners, brochures and other printed resources
- Creating engaging content for parents and prospective families
- Planning and scheduling social media content
- Supporting our email marketing campaigns
- Updating and improving our Wix website
- Creating marketing resources for our partner schools
- Helping launch new products, services and music programmes
- Capturing and editing photo and video content from lessons, concerts and events
- Maintaining a consistent Anthem brand across all marketing channels
- Planning and delivering seasonal marketing campaigns throughout the year
- Supporting student recruitment campaigns and open days
- Creating digital adverts for Meta and Google (or learning how to)
- Monitoring campaign performance and suggesting improvements
- Working closely with our leadership team to turn ideas into reality
- Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and on time
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a strong creative eye and excellent design skills
- Produces professional, high-quality work with great attention to detail
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Has excellent communication skills
- Can work independently and take ownership of projects
- Is proactive and enjoys bringing new ideas to the table
- Has excellent written English and can write engaging marketing copy
- Is confident using Canva (Adobe Creative Suite experience is an advantage)
- Is comfortable working across both digital and printed marketing
- Wants to build a long-term career within a growing business
Bonus points if you have...
- Experience working in education, music, performing arts or children's activities
- Photography or videography skills
- Experience running Meta or Google Ads
- Wix website experience
- Email marketing experience
- Video editing skills
- A passion for music and live events
Why join Anthem?
We're not just another music school.
Our mission is to help young people build confidence through music. Every week we see children overcome nerves, make new friends, discover their potential and perform on stage in front of hundreds of people.
As Anthem continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to shape our marketing, contribute ideas that genuinely make an impact and grow your own role alongside the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants more than just another marketing job; they want to help build an ambitious brand that's making a real difference to young people and their families.
