Rate: £13.60 per hour (£25,636 per annum)
Please note: To be eligible for this role, you must hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and be able to commit to full-time permanent hours.

As a Leisure Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our operation, supervising the pool, supporting activities across the centre and providing excellent customer service. No two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a supportive team helping people of all ages and abilities to move more every day.

- Keeping our swimming customers safe through effective pool supervision and lifeguarding.
- Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all.
- Supporting the set-up and delivery of activities across the centre.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety.
- Assisting customers with enquiries and helping them get the most from their visit.
- A valid Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- A positive, customer-focused approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
- Flexibility to work a rolling rota including mornings, evenings and weekends.
- 32 days’ holiday, rising incrementally to 39 days after 5 years’ service (including bank holidays and Trafford Leisure days).
