Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator/Clerk to join our team. The Payroll Administrator/Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for our clients, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations, and providing support to the payroll department.

Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll for clients accurately and timely, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
Enter payroll data into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues with employees or managers.
Calculate and process payroll adjustments, including retroactive pay, commissions, and reimbursements.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports, summaries, and statements to clients and employees.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from clients, employees, and government agencies, providing timely and accurate information.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and files, including employee information, tax withholding forms, and payroll deductions.
Assist with payroll tax filings, including preparation of tax returns, payments, and compliance documentation.
Stay updated with changes in payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
Provide administrative support to the payroll department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.

Proficiency in payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks).
Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll administration or related roles.
Demonstrated understanding of payroll processing procedures and regulations.
Experience with payroll software and systems.
Familiarity with payroll tax filings and compliance requirements.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Commitment to integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in payroll processing.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

Salary: as per experience

Schedule:

9:00 A.M to 5:00 PM
Monday to Saturday
