Immediate start available. Must have 3+ years experience as waiter/waitress. Able to travel to Edinburgh EH14 5DE.

Join our vibrant team as a Restaurant server and become the face of exceptional dining experiences! In this dynamic role, you'll deliver outstanding guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create memorable moments for every guest. Duties

Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring efficient communication with kitchen staff
Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while meeting guest preferences
Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation
Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately at the end of each shift
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to maintain a clean and inviting environment
Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction
Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation protocols in accordance with health standards
Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness

Experience

Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
Familiarity with POS systems
Experience in serving, bussing, hosting, or food preparation enhances your ability to excel in this role
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations confidently
