Supervisor – Beachfront Street Food (Longniddry, Near Edinburgh)

Alandas – Longniddry Bents Beachfront

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A TEAM LEADER/SUPERVISOR ROLE TO BE CONSIDERED

Alandas is a growing, family-run street food business with multiple locations across the area. We’re currently looking for a motivated and hands-on Leader to join our friendly team at our popular beachfront unit in Longniddry—just 20 minutes from Edinburgh.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, outdoor hospitality environment with real opportunities for career progression within a supportive and close-knit team.

The Role

As Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the daily running of the unit. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead by example, support your team, and ensure excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the team during busy service periods
Take and process customer orders using the till
Prepare and serve food and drinks efficiently
Make hot drinks (full training provided)
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering
Complete basic daily paperwork
Deliver an outstanding customer experience

What We’re Looking For

Friendly, approachable, and confident personality
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn, develop, and take initiative
Previous hospitality or supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential

Important Information

Peak times include weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays
Flexibility to work during these periods is essential
Shifts can be long and physically demanding during busy periods

Pay & Progression

Competitive pay based on age and experience
Initial training rate during the first month
Regular pay reviews and yearly increases
