Pure IT Refurbished are one of the UK’s leading IT refurbishment companies, supplying high-quality refurbished devices to schools, businesses, and public sector organisations across the UK.
We’re expanding our team and looking for 2 experienced technicians; one permanent, full-time position and one fixed-term contract covering a busy two-month period. Both are hands-on roles for people who enjoy working with hardware, solving problems, and seeing their work make an impact.
What you’ll be doing:
· Testing laptops — visual checks, functionality tests, and stress testing
· Replacing panels and parts on laptops to bring them up to a like new standard
· Identifying faults and carrying out minor repairs
· Stripping down and rebuilding laptops
· Testing and installing components including, SSDs, RAM batteries, Keyboards and other laptop parts.
What we’re looking for:
· Someone who is organised, punctual, and a team player
· A keen eye for detail and a practical mindset
· Hands-on repair experience is essential — laptops, mobile phones, tablets, or other electronics
· Enthusiasm to get stuck in and keep developing your skills

Location: Our workshop in Deans Industrial Estate, Livingston, EH54 8SB
Hours: 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday & 8am to 12.30pm on Friday
Start: Immediate
Duration: Temporary — 2 months (full-time)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
Pay: £24,650.00-£26,000.00 per year
