Overview
We are seeking a professional PSV Driver based in Edinburgh to join our team for local and long-distance tours, including airport transfers. The ideal candidate will hold a valid PSV licence and CPC certification, with experience in commercial driving and vehicle maintenance. This role involves providing safe, reliable transportation services while ensuring excellent communication with passengers and operational efficiency. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering exceptional service across various routes.

Duties

Safely operate PSV vehicles for local and long-distance tours, including airport transfers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service throughout the journey.
Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle condition in compliance with company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly.
Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle at all times.
Follow all health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 measures, to protect passengers and staff.

Qualifications

Valid PSV licence with a current CPC certification.
Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver or passenger vehicle operator.
Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication.
Demonstrable communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
Experience operating various types of PSV vehicles is preferred.
