Commis – Four Points by Sheraton, Edinburgh Haymarket.

YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:

· Prepare, cook, serve and store various dishes to include meat, fish and shellfish

· Prepare Regional Dishes appropriate to the hotel menu, location and guest mix

· Provide direction to the Kitchen staff, including Commis Chefs

· Communicate to your Line Manager any difficulties, guest or internal customer comments and other relevant information

· Attend and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled

· Prepare in advance any food, beverage, materials and equipment needed for service

· Clean and re-set working area

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

· Ability to plan, prioritise and multitask

· Strong communication skills

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn
