Are you an experienced retail professional who is sales-driven, confident leading a team and passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience?

We are looking for a Full-Time Retail Sales Supervisor to join our busy souvenir store.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail professional to take a hands-on leadership role within our store, supporting the Store Manager, motivating the team and helping us maximise every sales opportunity.

The Role

As Retail Sales Supervisor, you will be a key member of the store leadership team.

You will lead from the front, setting the standard for customer service, sales performance, product knowledge and store presentation.

You'll be responsible for helping the team deliver an exceptional experience to customers visiting from across the UK and around the world, while ensuring the store operates efficiently throughout the day.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising and supporting the retail team on a day-to-day basis.
Leading by example and delivering excellent customer service.
Driving individual and store-wide sales performance.
Monitoring sales performance and encouraging the team to achieve and exceed targets.
Actively engaging with customers and identifying opportunities to maximise sales.
Coaching and developing team members in customer service, product knowledge and selling techniques.
Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.
Allocating tasks and ensuring the team remains productive throughout the day.
Taking responsibility for the shop floor during the absence of the Store Manager.
Supporting opening and closing procedures.
Ensuring cash-handling and till procedures are followed correctly.
Supporting stock deliveries, replenishment and stock control.
Maintaining excellent visual merchandising and presentation standards.
Ensuring key product ranges are presented to a high standard.
Dealing confidently and professionally with customer queries and complaints.
Supporting the team during busy periods and leading effectively under pressure.
Ensuring company policies, procedures, health & safety and security standards are followed.
Identifying opportunities to improve store performance and the customer journey.
Providing feedback to the Store Manager on team performance, sales opportunities and operational issues.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is commercially focused, confident and naturally takes ownership.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in a retail supervisory or senior sales role.
A strong track record of delivering excellent customer service.
A proven ability to drive and achieve sales targets.
Experience supervising, coaching or supporting a retail team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence in approaching customers and leading sales conversations.
The ability to motivate colleagues and bring out the best in the team.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and make confident decisions.
A proactive and forward-thinking approach.
The ability to remain calm, professional and organised in a high-footfall environment.
A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and busy seasonal periods.
