About Us: We are a vibrant and popular street food business located in the heart of Edinburgh. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team and help us share our story with a wider audience.

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to manage and grow our presence on Instagram. FOR MONTH OF AUGUST ONLY. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, storytelling, and social media trends, with a knack for creating engaging and eye-catching content. You will be responsible for managing two of our social media accounts, focusing on creating compelling reels and stories that showcase our delicious offerings and vibrant atmosphere. The role will be for the month of August only, but there are opportunities to extend this.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a social media strategy for Instagram to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Create, edit, and publish high-quality content, including reels, stories, photos, and videos that highlight our menu items, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
Monitor social media trends and implement best practices to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.
Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies and campaigns.
Track and analyze the performance of social media posts, using insights to optimize future content and strategies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates on Instagram and TikTok to leverage new tools for content creation and engagement.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past social media work.
Excellent knowledge of Instagram and TikTok, including their algorithms, features, and best practices.
Proficient in content creation tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InShot).
Strong photography and videography skills, with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate original ideas and concepts.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Passion for food and the street food industry is a plus.
