We’re looking for a talented Pastry Sous Chef to join our busy, creative kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves precision, and brings both technical skill and imagination to the pastry section. You’ll support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional desserts, bakery items, and event-led pastry production with consistency, efficiency, and pride.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day pastry production, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met.
- Support menu development, seasonal changes, and event-specific pastry items.
- Oversee mise en place, stock rotation, ordering, and section organisation.
- Train, mentor, and support junior pastry staff.
- Maintain excellent food safety, allergen control, and HACCP compliance.
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver smooth service across all outlets.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and professional conduct.
