As Student Ambassador for ACES Edinburgh, you will support us in achieving big results for under-represented and disadvantaged young people interested in studying art, design, or architecture at university. We offer a range of events from Portfolio Preparation to one-off events and talks online as well as in-person, and you will help us make these happen.

Your skills and attributes for success:
- You are a current, full-time, matriculated student (including academic session 2026-27) within the School of Design or ESALA at Edinburgh College of Art.
- An understanding of, and empathy for, the student groups targeted within Widening Participation programmes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and time-management skills.
You are a team player who strives to support colleagues and participants

As most shifts will be available from September to January around Portfolio Prep, the successful applicants must be available to work Fridays 13:00-18:00 between 11 September 2026 to 22 January 2027.

This post is guaranteed hours; 40 hours by 31/07/2027. Work on campus on Fridays is required as the successful candidate will support the ACES Portfolio Preparation Programme on Fridays 13:00-18:00 between 11 September 2026 to 22 January 2027.
