Axe Granite Ltd is seeking an experienced Sawyer / Saw CNC Operator to join our professional team. We specialize in the production of bespoke stone surfaces for luxury domestic and commercial settings. Key Responsibilities
- Machinery Operation: Programming and operating Saw CNC machinery for the precise cutting of natural and composite stone.
- Fabrication: Using hand-held power tools for finishing and detailing bespoke pieces.
- Quality Control: Performing visual and dimensional quality inspection checks to identify defective materials and ensure perfect accuracy.
- Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining Saw CNC machinery and tools to ensure peak performance.
- Workspace Management: Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Sawyer, Machine Operator, and Programmer.
- Technical Proficiency: Specific experience in operating and programming Saw CNC machinery.
- Qualifications: A technical accredited qualification is required.
- Material Expertise: Knowledge of working with marble, granite, onyx, quartzite, and composite stones.
- Efficiency: Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines and production targets.
- Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and a team-oriented mindset.
