Role Overview
We are now looking for a passionate Viennoiserie Assistant for our production site in Hayes (UB3).
As a Viennoiserie Assistant, you will support the production of our delicious viennoiserie items, including croissants, pains au chocolat and danishes.
You will be working 5 days per week between 07:00am and 16:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of viennoiserie items following established recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Help with dough preparation, rolling, shaping, and proofing processes.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a high-volume or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of of baking techniques, dough handling, and large-batch production.
- Ability to follow standardised recipes and production specifications precisely.
- Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work any day of the week.
Nice-to-Have
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent baking certification.
