Grasmere Gather offers visitors a selection of artisan goods that celebrate Cumbria’s rich heritage. From the region’s traditional farming and food production, weaving and textile mills, mining and minerals, and tourism, each product tells a story of craftsmanship and local industry. It’s the perfect place to browse, discover the producers we showcase, and to take home a reminder of a visit to the Lake District.
At the Grasmere Gather you’ll find hand-woven tweed, hand-thrown pottery and ceramics; award-winning photography; design-led giftware by talented local artists; unique leather, wood and paper creations; and mouth-watering Cumbrian produce. All represent the highest quality the UK has to offer.
We’re growing and so we’re looking for one more full time staff member. We are a retail business focused on supporting Cumbrian and other British artisans. We are design led in all that we do. It is hard for graduates to get jobs at the moment so we are keen to offer the role to someone looking for that first stepping stone in their career.
