Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing bespoke dental cabinetry in a variety of settings. Duties
- Fabricate custom cabinetry and furniture components according to design specifications using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
- Assemble cabinet parts with precision, ensuring proper fit and finish
- Install completed cabinetry securely in clients commercial premises, ensuring alignment and stability.
- Operate various construction equipment safely, including saws, drills, and sanders
- Assist with site preparation, including surface finishing such as painting or sealing when required
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met and expectations exceeded
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and installation of cabinetry or similar joinery work
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively for cutting, drilling, and finishing tasks
- Strong carpentry skills with knowledge of joinery techniques for durable construction
- Experience with roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is advantageous but not essential
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with construction projects
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
