Operating from our farm & production facility in Longridge, Alston Dairy proudly supplies over 450 SPAR stores across the north of England as a proud member of the James Hall & Co. Ltd. family.

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Salary: £12.75 (21+)

About the Role
As a Dairy Operative at Alston Dairy, you will be trained to work in various areas of the business. We are an ambitious company with big plans and are looking for people who can grow with us.

We are actively looking for hardworking and reliable individuals who are eager to make a positive contribution to our fantastic team within the Yogurt Manufacturing facility.

Here is What You Can Expect to be Doing
The role will be varied and will include training to work in multiple areas of the business. And this could range from operating one of our Potting Machines to fruiting yogurt-

Comply with our high standards of Health & Safety and Food Safety.
Show a commitment to Product Quality and Quality Control processes and procedures.
Contribute to the completion of documentational requirements for traceability.
Operate a range of different equipment and machinery.
Effective cleaning of equipment, tooling and work environment.
Lift, handle, and process products as required.
Show flexibility and be able to operate in both High and Low care environments as required.

Experience of working within a similar role is desirable but not essential
